A house’s floor area is not automatically its spray area. A sloped roof deck, gable ends and wall cavities must be measured for the actual scope. Thickness matters as well: a board foot is one square foot of coverage at one inch thick.
Request a written estimate that separates those items. Published price-per-square-foot figures can be misleading when they describe different surfaces or thicknesses.

No. Moving insulation to the roof deck changes the enclosure, but the attic’s ventilation, humidity control and any conditioning strategy still need to be addressed. The insulation and HVAC scope should be coordinated.
